Generic New Year Celebration
Moving forward into the New Year, I have decided to make some additions to my Facebook Fan Page in order to make my music more interactive. In 2012, I will be starting a weekly music release every Thursday. I want to call it T.Blake’s “Wordplay Thursdays” namely because it kinda rhymes and because Thursdays are an ideal day to drop tracks for me. Secondly, I will be doing a fan of the month. As fan of the month, you can suggest an instrumental for me that I will release for Wordplay Thursdays, OR request to have your name put into the lyrics of one of my tracks. You earn bragging rights for days, and all 630+ of my fans will know who you are. How can you become a fan of the month? Becoming fan of the month is based on how much you interact with the page. Liking posts, commenting, submitting feedback, sharing links, or suggesting the page to others through blogging will all contribute to deciding the fan of the month. Other resolutions include putting out more original tracks, meaning to use instrumentals exclusively produced for my use. Finally, I plan to release three “singles” that will find there way on Itunes. Instead of focusing on a mixtape, I will put that time and energy into making two or three kick-ass anthems. Remember though, new music will appear every Thursday starting January 27th, so I promise there will be no shortage of music. If you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know!

As much as I hate New Years Resolutions this one was actually pretty well thought out. Really enjoyed the thought process behind you music releases and how to get the Facebook fans involved. Can’t wait to hit up your Facebook page and dive on in after reading this. See and chat with you soon.
