A$AP Rocky is most notably known as one of Jeremy Scott’s biggest supporters when it comes to shoes. However, along with Scott’s bizarre and quirky styles Rocky, as revealed in his interview previously featured on Soletron also has a love for Maison Martin Margiela’s line of shoes as well. In his latest video “Goldie” featured below, a pair of the Margiela “Mirror Sneaker” in the gold colorway are spotted being engulfed in flame after the line, “My Martin was a Maison, rocked Margiela with no laces.”
For $680 online at Barney’s, I would hope the shoes didn’t actually catch on fire, although for many sneakerheads who find the shoe disgustingly ugly, perhaps that is not a terrible alternative. Irregardless, the latest music video is sensational. Shot in Paris, the video showcases the very lavish lifestyle of A$AP, and, justifying the title of the song, a whole lot of gold (as well as naked models).
