For me, collecting sneakers has been a passion, and for this year I decided to make a wishlist of the top 5 shoes I want to pickup this year. Keeping in mind I am a college student paying his way, I narrowed down my top 5 shoes to kicks I feel I could feasibly acquire (no Air Yeezy’s or Bin 7′s on this list). So, without further ado, here’s my top five list:
1)
Number one on my list is the Jordan Retro 4. This colorway is similiar to the “Mars” release of the same shoe, minus the Mars Blackmon decal on the mid. Lucky for me, these will release in August as a general release, most likely for $160. Easy cop.
2)
Oh Wolf Grey 5s, what a love hate relationship. When they first released last year over the summer, I remember seeing them and not liking the suede material. I passed on these and picked up the “Independence Day” 5s, and boy have I regretted it. These shoes are really clean, and the after market value for a deadstock pair is right about $225-250 I hope to get ahold of a DS or VNDS pair this summer.
3)
The “Bulls” home colorway of the Jordan 6. Park of the Infrared pack, I have always loved white, red and black color schemes. This combined with the 6s being one of my favorite styles of Jordans make picking up a pair a no brainer. With a Deadstock cost of $200-225 these are one of the less expensive shoes on my list.
These were slept on by a lot of people in the sneaker community, but quickly became popular. The “Bordeaux” 7s are a must have in my collection. They match with practically everything, and the maroon accents throughout are what really draw me to the shoe. These recently shot up in price, at about $300 for a deadstock pair, however I hope to try and trade or seek a VNDS pair for less of a cost.
5)
Lastly are the “Bred” (Black and Red) Jordan 11s. These were last released in 2009, and are currently a whopping $500-550 deadstock. However, these are rumored to re-release this Christmas for $175, and I hope to camp out for a shot at adding these to my collection.

[...] for only $190 I was happy to not have these break my wallet. All those these weren’t on my top five list, I couldn’t pass on these. Stay tuned for my review of the Wolf Grey 5s I will be getting in [...]
