August looks to be a good month for music. Here are some of the albums I am looking forward to listening to the most:

Kreayshawn -Somethin’ Bout Kreay
Now with Kreayshawn I’m not really anticipating anything spectacular, I just am really curious to see how this is going to turn out. She has gone down as a one hit wonder in my book but maybe this new album will manufacture a second hit.

Insane Clown Posse -Might Death Pop
ICP has been making music forever, and while I am not a Juggalo by any means, I am, just as with Kreayshawn, curious to see what this album puts out. Though I strongly believe this album will be a wash, “Miracles” do happen.

2 Chainz -Based On a T.R.U. Story
2 Chainz has been extremely popular this summer, featuring on many tracks that probably have became a personal anthem for your escapades (Mercy and No Lie especially, although Beez in the Trap happens to be my favorite). Based on a T.R.U. Story is going to be a great debut for this artist on the rise, and will hopefully cement his place in the hip-hop game.

Brother Ali -Mourning In America & Dreaming In Color
Brother Ali is one of the most talented lyricist in the rap game, and his writing comes from a place of sincerity and soul. Mourning in America is an album you will not want to miss out on.

Wiz Khalifa -O.N.I.F.C.
The followup to his wildly anticipated Mixtape this spring, O.N.I.F.C is going to hopefully exceed expectations. While I am not the biggest fan of “Work Hard, Play Hard” I hope the album gets back to the Kush and Orange Juice Roots and gives us all a back to school anthem.

Slaughterhouse -welcome to: Our House
Last, but not least, Slaughterhouse is putting out an album in late August that will celebrate exactly how far these guys have come in the past couple years. I anticipate this album to attract new fans and new ears to their great sound.

[...] I didn’t put Slaughterhouse’s new album, “Welcome to Our House” on my most anticipated August Release list for nothing. Sure we had 2 Chainz’s release, but it pales in comparison to the artistic [...]
